Zonta Club of Asti celebrates 35th anniversary
On 10 May, the city of Asti celebrated the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Zonta Club of Asti, Italy,—an event marked by recognition and civic commitment.
The event spotlighted intergenerational solidarity, as 22 young women from the Zeta group paid tribute to the club’s founding members, highlighting a legacy of shared values and ongoing dedication to service and advocacy.
As part of the celebration, the club presented its prestigious “Reveal a Gem” award to Gaia Grisoglio and Beatrice Orlandi, two young women recognized for their determination, talent and strong sense of service. Both recipients were praised as role models within the community.
The ceremony drew broad support from local authorities, including the mayor of Asti, the chief of police, the commander of the Carabinieri and representatives from the Red Cross and the local Anti-Violence Center.
The high level of institutional presence underscored the enduring relationship between the Zonta club and the region’s civic and social institutions—a connection the club’s members view as a lasting source of pride.
