A yellow rose for every woman

In celebration of Zonta Rose Day and International Women’s Day, the Zonta Club of Aparri, Philippines, distributed 150 yellow rose brooches to women in the community.

The yellow rose is a symbol of Zonta International, representing friendship, appreciation and a shared commitment to empowering women and girls.

Through this simple yet meaningful gesture, the club honored the strength, resilience and invaluable contributions of women in the Aparri community while raising awareness of Zonta’s advocacy for the rights, opportunities and well-being of women and girls.

This initiative reflects the club's continued commitment, under the leadership of Club President Liciel Antiporda-Ontiveros to bringing Zonta’s mission closer to the community.
