Zonta Club of Aparri celebrates United Nations Day

In solidarity with the ideals of peace, unity and global cooperation, the Zonta Club of Aparri, Philippines, commemorated United Nations Day at St. Patrick Garden Hotel.

The event showcased the spirit of international friendship as Zontians donned colorful costumes representing various UN member countries, symbolizing harmony amid diversity. The event was joined by officers and members of the CSU Golden ZFAS, whose participation reflected the youth’s active role in advancing the UN’s vision for a better world.

It was an evening of fellowship, cultural appreciation and shared commitment to equality, peace and women’s empowerment—values upheld by both the United Nations and Zonta International. The program concluded with a dinner honoring October birthday celebrants, adding warmth and joy to the occasion.
