Zonta Club of Aparri awards first Leadership Award to Golden Z club president

The Zonta Club of Aparri, Philippines, participated in the Panagyaman ken Pammadayaw 2025 Recognition Night hosted by the Cagayan State University Aparri – College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CSU CFAS) on 27 June at the CSUA Gymplex. The event carried the theme “Balligi ti annac, Rag-o ti nagannac."

Club President Liciel Antiporda Ontiveros presented the first Zonta Club of Aparri Leadership Award to Golden ZFAS Club President Shane A. Sabado, recognizing her outstanding leadership, dedication, service and commitment to the goals of both Zonta clubs.

A Plaque of Appreciation was also awarded to Dean Quirino G. Pascua and the Golden ZFAS Club for their continued partnership, support and active involvement in advancing projects and advocacies.

The Zonta club expressed its gratitude to CSU OIC President Arthur Ibanez, CEO Audy Quebral, Dean Kaye Pascua and the entire CSU CFAS community for the tribute presentation. The club emphasized that its partnership with CFAS has been more than a collaboration—reflecting a shared commitment to community empowerment, sustainable fisheries and the advancement of women and families in coastal communities.
