Honoring Quite Another 100 Years

During my recent stay in Taipei I learned that the Zonta Club of Taipei II has a member, Ju-Chiang Lay Shan, who celebrated her 100th birthday a while ago. Twenty-four hours later, I had the great honor and pleasure to pay a visit to this remarkable lady.

She has been a member of the club for 47 years. She was chief accountant at Taiwan's Railway Administration when she joined Zonta. Her great passion though, is painting, and everyday she devotes time and energy to it. We spent some time together looking at her works and talking about Zonta. It was a once-in-a lifetime Zonta experience.
